Well, I guess I didn't read the description carefully enough. When I received these 12 tiny things I was unhappy. I read the description and said it was compressed. I put them in water and they swelled up. But they are not big enough. I couldn't find anything in regular stores, so I took these. A little disappointed, but it's a sponge. I will not buy these again.

When I ordered these sponges I didn't realize they were "compressed". So when I pulled the little envelope out of the mailbox, my first thought was "WHAT IS THIS?" Something more than a deck of cards. But as soon as these sponges touch the water: POOF! Full size sponge. Impressive and very cool. I kept thinking what a fun thing it would be for a little kids craft party. MAGIC SPONGES. oooh :D

We've been using synthetic dishwashing sponges for years but we've seen these sponges made from wood pulp. We love the idea of using natural products instead of artificial ones whenever possible.
