Fits perfectly onto my 3/8 inch Goodyear hose reel. No air leakage. As others have said, a little lube helps with this. He's been wearing it for a week now with no air leaks. Time will tell about the durability. I have a vortex in me. I've been thinking about getting this. The lack of a swivel joint increases the stress on the compression joint which was damaged on my original hose. A few years ago there was a small leak and over time it got worse until it finally failed and burst. Two 15/16" open-end wrenches are the required wrench size or two adjustable wrenches for a damage-free installation. The flexible hose's protective sleeve slips onto the swivel nut. Let's see how durable it is over time. I use my hose reel on a weekly basis with both for automotive and carpentry work.
