I was looking for an inexpensive external WiFi module, since I haven’t used wires for a long time, although I installed Ethernet sockets for a long time. When buying, the lack of 5GHz was embarrassing, but the fears were in vain. With a WiFi modem from Akado, I connected at a speed of 240 Mbps. Distance 10 meters through a concrete wall and a closed door. At the rate of 100 Mbps, it showed a download speed of 60-71 Mbps, which is not bad. I connected to the usb 3.0 port and to 2.0, there is no difference. Torrents download 6-7 megabytes per second. Doesn't throttle or drop connections. I installed native drivers from offsite, the ping grew to 20ms. On firewood from Windows showed 9-11 ms. Firewood on the site has not been ated for a long time, which is sad. If you need to connect quickly and without headaches via WiFi, I recommend it. Device version v5.
