Review on πŸ’» ZOTAC GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 Low Profile Video Card - Review, Price, and Specifications by Keith Mertz

Good graphics card for old games.

This is not a powerful graphics card. So most systems should be able to use it. I mostly play older, less demanding games at 1920x1080. I've been trying games on this graphics card for the time being. Euro Truck Simulator 2 has many settings, either high or medium at 100% scaling. I have stable 60 fps. The next game I started was Grim Dawn. Medium to low on some things to get 60 fps. The graphics card is not powerful but does a good job of maintaining playable frame rates in my games. I think more modern graphics-heavy games might have trouble hitting 60fps unless you lower the resolution to 720. The card is very quiet. at least mine was. So if you're looking for a card that can play games at reasonable frame rates, then this is a solid choice. I tried using the integrated graphics card for gaming. This is an Intel HD530. This is a much better choice. Grim Dawn with all settings on low or at 20 fps with an Intel HD530. So I downloaded the overclocking software from the Zotac website. Then I launched Forza 7. I had to set the resolution to 720 and got a solid 45 fps with all settings on low. So this graphics card is playing Forza 7. This video is like owning a GTX 750. It's been a solid purchase so far.
