Review on Portable LED Mobile Task Lamp - OttLite Black, Lightweight, Battery-Operated, Carrying Handle by Trish Stott

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This quilter is unhappy!

As a quilter, I love bright lights when embroidering. Many years later I bought several Ott lamps that plug into the mains and are used all the time. I still have my original Ott lantern. I was hoping this light would work for visits and stitches without the need for an outlet. Well this light worked fine about 4 or 5 times and then just died. I wasn't even embarrassed that the battery didn't last long. I've found that opening the light when I really need it to sew saves batteries, and I've also removed the batteries when not in use. It somehow made them last longer. But after about the 5th use of the light it just stopped working. It was not dropped, hit or touched. just died I wouldn't buy any other. Now I will connect another Ott light and save batteries! Spring.
