"Stone Blue" is just a medium gray.don't get excited thinking you're gonna have some pretty denim blue-ish colored shade (curtain, whatever), you're not. There's no blue at all to these. I'm gonna hang one up and see how it looks, if I like, will keep -- if not, will return.Yes, they're thick. If that's your main concern I guess they'd be a good buy for you. I wanted something I could tie up just above the a.c. in a spare room to get a little shade above the a.c. cuz when you spread regular curtains apart over the a.c. it let's in too much sun.But I also wanted something that looked nice. This ain't it.You don't get a nice look either when you turn them up at the bottom cuz they're really too thick for that. Tied up they look bulky, saggy & stupid all at the same time. They should really just be straight hanging curtains. But if I left them hanging straight down they would block the a.c.Not happy at all with them.
