Great! I usually use a desktop PC, but I recently got a new laptop that I haven't had in years. I hadn't realized it didn't have a CD/DVD drive, so I looked for an external one. I don't use CDs very often and DVDs only occasionally, but I still need my computer to play them, especially my laptop (when traveling etc.). They all seem to be the same price. I went through many product descriptions looking for one that seemed to do the job I needed it for and work with my HP laptop. My laptop has a USB 2.0 and a 3.1 port and when I saw that it was compatible with both I went with it. I also liked that they had an option other than black. I wish it had a happier color, something that sets it apart from all my other electronics, but at least they have a white option. I thought I would add some colorful and fun stickers and the white background would make it stand out a bit. Super easy to use. I just plugged it in and tried the CD and DVD and both worked fine. I LOVE that the USB cable hides underneath when not in use. The cable is short (about 8-9 inches) and attached, but fits a laptop perfectly. Its slim profile makes it easy to place anywhere. I have an old CD case I can keep it in if I want. Excellent. So far so good, if anything changes I'll get back to you. Hope this helped! Watch after :)
