I thought it was worth trying this controller for the price as I decided to upgrade my stereo at the same time. Following the instructions I connected all the wires to the correct ones on the wire harness. However, when trying to pair the buttons with the stereo, the connection kept failing and I was only able to pair maybe 3 buttons successfully. These 3 buttons didn't last long as the remote kept losing its head and either not transmitting to the radio or executing the wrong command. I even tried moving the receiver closer to the remote and still had the same issues. Overall I wouldn't recommend it which is sad because it fits my handlebars very well.
