Review on πŸš— Ford Left Tail Lamp Replacement - TYC 11-6264-01-1 by Jason Wesley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks and functions identical to the original

I am very impressed with this replacement Ford tail light for the left (driver's) side of my F250! It looks identical to OE (Original Equipment) and works very well. The swap only took about 3-4 minutes by removing the two 5/16" cap screws (open the tailgate to reveal the two zinc plated screws that secure the right side of the light to the truck bed). Once they are removed all you need to do is pull behind the left side of the headlight as there are two posts on the back of the headlight that connect to the truck body and hold the left side of the headlight. The actual electrical connectors for the headlight (rear brake light and brake light) must be rotated 90 degrees clockwise to remove them completely from their sockets (ensure the O-rings are still on the connectors before unplugging the connectors insert into the new headlight). "Plug in" the headlight connector, the two columns on the left and the first rear headlight, then insert/turn the headlight into the loading area and replace the two galvanized screws! between OE and replacement. I know because I'm not fried! I am very happy!
