Review on 🚪 Black Tail Gate Door Handle for Chevy Avalanche 1500 and 2500 (02-06) | Part Numbers: 15086873, 19209650 by Chris Rigsby

Installed everything works. I used the cable clamps that were on it and broke one of the OEM's by pulling the old one out. The installation is above average (no fault of the part) as you either have to cut out part of the tailgate (see YouTube video) or pull out the old one by pulling back a piece of the tailgate (plastic) and then insert the new one (what I did). Since I didn't cut out the pull tab removed in the YouTube videos, I had my wife reach out with her smaller fingers to connect the locking cables to the new clips. Runs like a champ but I don't think it's OEM quality that has lasted more or less 14 years hence the 4 stars vs 5. (I have one of the first 2002 Avalanches I bought new. ) Stars instead of 5 from -for perceived lower quality than OEM (quality only 7x price difference compared to GM-OEM!)
