I bought 4 of these and compared them by turning them both ways. As far as I can tell, all 4 are perfectly matched. Of course, if you need to level something with very long sides (e.g. a patio or patio) this won't work. But they should be good for squaring anything that has smooth surfaces and is only a foot or two on each side. The best thing for me is that I can attach them to things to hold them in place easier than some other types. thinner squares. I have not checked the accuracy of the drawn measurement lines.
