Review on 📚 Whitmor Wood Household Shelves: Natural Storage Solution by Kristin Lee

You get what you pay for. For what I paid for it, it seems worth it. It is unfinished which is consistent with the photos. The small wooden dowels that connect the wooden slats are very thin; they looked a bit bigger in the picture than they really are. The leg holes on the top and bottom shelves were offset anywhere from 1/8 to 1/4 inch. I had to drill 2 new holes to avoid tilting the link legs too much. It only lasted a minute. After this minor change, the unit assembled easily and was surprisingly smooth and strong. Don't hyperextend your legs - you really don't need a lot of them. Now we use it as a shoe rack. I would rate it 5 stars for ease of assembly other than those staggered holes. I assume it will break due to abuse (being kicked, stepped on, overloaded) but not self-destruct. This rack is definitely for light use and priced accordingly.
