Review on ๐Ÿ•๏ธ Camping Solar Panel 10W: Waterproof Foldable Travel Charger with USB Port by Michael Thaxton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful design, simplicity, very inexpensive

This is a basic 10w solar panel at the lowest price. A good choice if you know what you need. In comparison, the Goal Zero 10W solar panel costs about 5 times as much, but has many additional features such as a durable housing, smarter charging circuitry, more connectors, etc. This panel, on the other hand, is a simple double panel with no housing and a USB connection. The open frame design actually has some advantages as it means the panel is very easy to pack and takes up little storage space. The panel doesn't have a fold-out stand for an optimal angle, but it does come with a pair of snap hooks you can use to hang it up. At this price I'm not sure how much I trust the charging circuitry so I use the pad to charge an external auxiliary battery and then charge my phone from that battery rather than charging my phone directly from the battery. Blackboard. This approach also works better in conditions where the sun is not constant, such as B. on days with lots of fluffy clouds (every time a cloud passes in front of the sun, it's like turning off the charger, and some phones don't like it plugged in). then turns off every few minutes). The bottom line is, if you've been thinking about buying a solar charger "just in case", this panel is a very inexpensive way to test your water.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
