I bought this mainly because the 3030 chipset needs to be very efficient (ie lots of light output at very low current). I put them on my bench to measure the ratio. Didn't even get to the amp. They were so boring that I immediately put them back in my pocket to return them. I would say they were about half or 2/3 the light output (light output) of my factory lights. Of course I bought the amber color (can't stand the sterile blue LED). Amber is inherently less bright than "bright white" or "daylight colored" LEDs. But then again, it wasn't even close. They were MUCH darker. I can't imagine "daylight" white light being much better. I will say they didn't seem to get as hot as other LEDs I've tried indicating less power is wasted as heat so less amp. draw, so in theory they should be pretty efficient, which would be good if you do a lot of camping and/or RVing and battery drain needs to be considered. I haven't measured actual thrust so take that with a grain of salt. I use them when camping/on land. Efficiency is very important. I'll look elsewhere.
