I gave this blood glucose meter to my mom for Mother's Day. I was a little worried about if it'd be easy enough for her to use the phone application, since she's older and not so tech savvy, but so far she's loving it and it's working really well. She hated carrying around all the equipment to test her blood and this meter makes it so much easier, which means she actually tests more and I can stop bugging her about it. It's also helpful that it doesn't require a battery. In the past, the battery dying would mean my mom didn't test for awhile until she found spare batteries or went out to buy more.Then we figured out in the app how to send her results to her doctor and the doctor really likes the report. My mom manages a few other health conditions so being able to send the doctor one report with notes makes the communication easier and let's my mom to get help between her doctor's appointments. Overall, I’m really glad I decided to get this for her and it’s working out well!
