Received the Maison d' Hermine tablecloth today and attached a photo of what the tablecloth looks like straight out of the box. I washed and dried the tablecloth according to the instructions on the package. The tablecloth is made of 100% cotton and is made in India according to the package label. The packaging says that the tablecloth should be washed in warm water and dried at low temperature. The label also states that direct sunlight should be avoided. As for the fabric: the tablecloth is not a smooth cotton tablecloth. The fabric feels and looks like a light twill. I would not use this tablecloth for fine dining as the fabric is neither smooth nor elegant. The tablecloth seems perfect for a casual dinner. I love spring flowers very much and can easily imagine using this tablecloth for a casual Easter dinner. I recommend.
