So I bought this because my 2006 4 runner check engine light came on along with the traction control lights. Take my gas cap off while filling up, now it doesn't quite tighten and comes off with a slight twist or nudge which causes the fault lights on the dash to come on. I bought this cap on the aftermarket, it fits tight but the bulbs don't come loose. I've been using it for over 6 months and nothing has changed. It was time for an auto inspection in North Carolina so I decided to put the old OEM cover back on with the gasket from this aftermarket cover, all lights out. Problem solved. Probably thanks for the expensive pad.
