Worked best in gas caps

The light was on and the cap locked it in place, good fit gave it 4 stars because the strap that attaches to the cap broke after the 2nd removal, it's just too short

It was the wrong gas cap

It was listed as a matching part for my car. Had not. I returned it. Toyota vehicles require genuine Toyota fuel caps. There is no substitute.

This gas cap did not fit my 2003 Camry LE

Unfortunately this gas cap did not fit me. I used this to replace the original gas cap and it proved problematic as it is almost impossible to open.

Difficult on all sides

The cap fits on the tank but the attached cord is not long enough to rotate and secure the cap. The cap is also very difficult to remove. I wish I could keep my old one!

Not. It went like this for 7 1/2 months. Buy OEM. Wasted $.

Lasted 7 1/2 months on my wife's 4Runner. I am the head of a large family and I am responsible for the care and maintenance of many things, including many cars. I lost time and money as a result. Buy OEM from Toyota dealer. Useless. Bought 2/2020, canceled 10/2020

The cap fell off the cable so as not to lose the gas cap. Just fell to the ground. So sad.

Easy installation, just snap the tab into the medal cap, but it is torn where the ring holds the cap. Just fell to the ground. So sad. I need to remove my old OEM gas cap and upgrade to a new one. Save me a trip to the Kohl's store and gas and time before returning or exchanging for a new one. I still gave 3 stars.

Don't waste your money, buy genuine Toyota

Looks great. The cap goes in but then pops out. He will not stay until forced into place. I put the old one in and it's in use with no problems. Lesson learned, don't buy cheap stuff. I've tried over and over again, if it stays like this my check engine light comes on. I put the old one back in and the check engine light was off. lesson repeated. No discounts on my Toyota.

Didn't work Period

So I bought this because my 2006 4 runner check engine light came on along with the traction control lights. Take my gas cap off while filling up, now it doesn't quite tighten and comes off with a slight twist or nudge which causes the fault lights on the dash to come on. I bought this cap on the aftermarket, it fits tight but the bulbs don't come loose. I've been using it for over 6 months and nothing has changed.
