My old Socket A has finally bitten the dust and I had another study semester ahead of me so I had to work on a budget. I am very happy with this little gem! This is my first dual core processor and I'm looking forward to going from 200-300 points a day Folding@Home[.] to 800-900 points a day! I also bought a GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P Socket AM2+/AMD 790X motherboard. The motherboard was a little expensive but it was worth it! I can easily overclock this processor on it. Right now I'm at 3.1GHz and I'm planning to see if it gets higher, but I need a stable CPU to fold. The difference between my old Socket A and this one is huge! This is a great processor at a great price if you don't want or can't spend a lot of money.
