kinda - good price grips pretty well as others have mentioned the jaws don't adjust in sync so a bit strange don't like it - the quality is a bit wonky and not smooth like a real vise but cheap enough to have in your tool box. PS, I like the weird tools needed for odd jobs. As a farmer, my local attachment dealer gets over $150 an hour and I don't let them fix ANYTHING that I could fix myself. A few cheap tools are affordable, once used they pay for themselves.
