(updated) Track connection bracket is very soft metal! Be aware when installing.

The seller responded promptly to my issue and sent a new plate.Purchased this about a month ago for a remodeling project and just started to install it today. We purchased a 9ft kit and it comes with two tracks that are connected in the center with a short metal piece and four screws. They recommend you connect the two tracks before mounting the track but the center connecting kit is so soft it is very easy to break. We were carful but in trying to position both parts of a 9 foot track the center connection broke. I will be contacting the company to try and resolve this issue but wanted to make others aware that this is an issue.
