Here's the thing: It's REALLY cool technology and there seemed to be no end to the customization you could do with it, but unfortunately the software that comes with it is so awful and buggy that it's just navigating the damn thing is a headache I never want to go through. Not only do I have constant invisible icons appearing and disappearing between software and hardware, but it's tied to this contextual junk where it switches screens every time you click another app ON YOUR PC. You have the option to lock it, but you also can't tell it what screen to default to (or I couldn't see it), so it's not quick and easy to use, it's painful and complicated. Not to mention my buttons lose their text in half the time and many functions just don't work when you click the buttons. No, the one I received wasn't defective, it was just too soon and the software was too buggy. If it takes 2 or 3 hours to try and watch their video and read their guides on it, it's time to just throw it away, which I did for the Streamdeck XL, which I think would be a much better option . Oh, and as an added bonus to that junk heap, if you want more access to other pieces of software, you'll have to pay extra money to the company to unlock them, having already paid them a ton of money for a piece of hardware that doesn't work. JOB. Obviously they are not ready to work in this hardware space and I STRONGLY recommend that you just buy the Streamdeck XL instead.
