Review on RC DV330 KVT 839DVD RC DV331 KNA RCDV331 Receiver by Charlie Conner

Works but with some problems.

I have never seen a car radio remote control thicker than this in my life. For some reason I didn't pay enough attention to the fact that it runs on AAA batteries like a home stereo remote usually does. Most car remotes use button cell batteries, which means they're about a third the thickness of this remote. That's why I gave this item fewer stars. It's a little big for the space in the car where it's used. I'll probably velcro attach it to something rather than digging it out of the console whenever I feel like it. None of the buttons on the head unit that I have do anything at all. Basically it's all about volume up and down, tracking up and down, mute and power. I would have liked a remote control that was better suited to the device. At least the menu button could work, or better yet, a subwoofer level control would be nice. My old Kenwood stereo ten years ago had a remote that could do all of this and more. This is not an entry-level stereo, but a mid-range model. Sad.
