These strips work but have issues. switched to a more powerful power supply. (I also had to turn off cellular data on my phone to initially set up these controllers.) The problem with using a more powerful AC adapter with these controllers is that during setup, the lights are set to maximum brightness and will actually start smoking, until you can adjust connection and reduce it to about 50%. I've tested over 10 power supplies with varying degrees of success. Here's the summary (Watts are listed on the PSU. I haven't personally tested them to make sure they're correct.) 7.5v 2500mA works 12v 1.5A works but will brew your lights at 12 V 1.0A Chanzon not working 18" RGB Band and only blinking.
