Wash once, before putting sheets on bed, in washing machine without agitator, on 'easy' setting, with safe/delicate detergent and dried 35 on low -40 minutes. The paint is spotted and the threads stick out from several seams. These sheets are over 10 years old and I haven't even used them yet. It looks like they were sprinkled with lemon juice in some places or left outside and bleached in the sun, if they weren't hiding under the covers I would be very pissed. Also, they stick together so much that they are difficult to adjust when making the bed, they tear over each other and you can't pull them towards you, you have to lift the sheet to move it. Two stars only because they seem warm.
