Flannel is knitted with cotton pile and woven thick and tight. The whole idea of flannel is to keep you warm. It's not like this. I would definitely rate it as light and thin. It should be at least twice as thick. There's no point in wearing flannel if it's the same thickness as regular cotton pajamas. I would classify it as just printed cotton and a hint of flannel. All pants are too long for me, they should be in short sizes, consider the material saving as a gain. I wouldn't exactly call it winter or fall clothing, maybe a light fall although perfect for summer. If you are looking for warm and authentic flannel, this is not it. look elsewhere It's also non-refundable, so I won't be buying from them again.
