I bought 300 volt bulbs for them. So I know it's not a problem. Both blew out after 1 month of use. When I say "burned" I mean the words were literally so hot that the part of the screw that screwed into the lamp broke loose from the glass bulb. Flasks found on the floor of the chicken coop. BOTH did the same thing within a week of the other. Might start a fire or electrocute ladies.
