16 piece set includes 4 large round rug gliders, 4 medium round rug gliders, 4 long rectangular rug gliders and 4 round sliders with solid surface of felt. Do not use felt on carpets. Do not use hard plastic cases on hard surfaces. Some of the reviews refer to different sets containing different items. Some of the sets are basically felt pads rather than glides. I got them because I moved and am disabled. I'm amazed at how much easier they make it to slide the box across the carpet. I looked at several brands and they seem to be very durable. Now I regret not getting more felt sliders. They really help protect the linoleum in the kitchen. I wasn't sure what I would use the large drives for. But they work well under boxes. Just two are enough to get the sled effect on the front and the box moves easily. But if it's a particularly heavy box, you can use four to lift it completely off the carpet.
