Before you buy, there are a few things to consider. If you have an older vdo generation, it will not "fit" in it. It fits the previous hole (size 52mm) but fonts may vary. The brightness of the backlight (much brighter) and the orange clock hands (too small and unobtrusive) make the display bright but almost unreadable at times. There are two tiny knobs (at 4 and 8 o'clock) to set the minute hand. (One clockwise and the other anti-clockwise.) But both are difficult to achieve and have so far only worked randomly or not at all. Once the time is set it's not a problem, but I'm not sure they'll work for a reset in the future. FYI, they are no longer made in Germany. Be prepared to search/download installation and user manual. Then again, it clocked perfectly the week it was installed, but should it get more stars for that?
