I bought this to keep crickets for my bearded dragons. I decided that I would fill it in a few times a week. Then the crickets slowly prepared for dinner and curiously emerged from their seclusion. It was fun for about a week. Crickets are a pain to get and when sprinkled with some form of supplements it's an even greater mess. When I came to the conclusion that this wasn't the biggest purchase I've made, I realized that my bearded dragon was becoming quite a daily roost. This is now my bearded dragon's favorite spot and I've moved him under his sunlamps as his new bathing spot. I now have two of these and they are great! I only wish they had done more as my aging beard is getting almost too big for his.
