After about a year of continuous use, the threads on the black plastic cap began to leak. I fiddled with it a bit to reseal it, but the plastic part has very thin threads so you can't tighten it any further. I was able to bolt it on using a 1 1/2 ABS threaded barrel with the top cap glued on and a screw screwed into the top to adjust the pressure. The 1 1/2 piece of pipe allowed me to tighten it much more tightly which tightened the rubber gasket to prevent leakage. If you have high water pressure, this device is not for you!
