I used to use throat mics, but I was skeptical about it. It was very cheap (compared to good ones that cost hundreds of dollars). But the sound quality was very good and allowed me to hear my transmissions very clearly in strong winds. Comfort left a lot to be desired. But it's just adjusting the strap each time I use it until I find where it's most comfortable while still maintaining contact with my throat. I will definitely be buying more of these for my other radios.
