Review on Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens for SLR Cameras - Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM by Stanislaw Szudek ᠌

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

Everything there is to know about him has previously been discussed one hundred times. I will only mention that the lens is very old and was not designed for modern matrices. Because of this, anyone who has a new camera with a high number of pixels should check the resolution of their camera first. I would say that it is not a great situation for the year 2022. I switched to the ultra-wide EF-S 10-18mm 4.5-5.6 IS STM, which doesn't cost much, can be stored in a pocket inside a sock, and offers at least the same level of sharpness throughout the frame. Additionally, night photography is improved because of the lens's stubby design. The picture of 10-18 is worse, but there is less technical marriage; as a result, I would recommend looking into new lenses for a family house because it is more suitable for children. In addition, it is pretty evident that Canon is discontinuing the OES series because it is already 30 years old and, ultimately, I believe that it has already put out everything that it has perfected in terms of inexpensive lenses.

Pros
  • - a crimson stripe - a sign of protection - cheap, if used, despite its lightness and visual quality
Cons
  • For a complete frame, it's probably fine, but the cost of a new one is quite pricey. - I'm not sure what enables modern dense corp matrices.
