Requires separate tools to hold brake spring rather than one universal tool for both sizes.
The set is of high quality. Nice plastic body. The spring removal tools work perfectly and are well made. However, I didn't like the universal pad retention tool as the tool would dig into my arm on the other side and install the pad retention springs. It is necessary to press firmly on the new spring to compress it enough for the pin to snap and hold. I ordered a KD 285 tool from 16 to 7/8 to use on my Dodge Dakota R/T next time. The 285 has a handle that you can press on and use some force instead of the smaller tool at the other end to squeeze into your hand. For $$$ you should get two separate brake pad installation tools as this is not a cheap set!
