Ahead, this was a replacement for an identical unit from another vendor which lasted two months on my shredder/mill before the capacitor ripped off the circuit board rendering it unusable. However, I also have one on my quad which has been running great in arctic conditions for over two years (it has been stored and used a lot in an unheated facility in the North Pole, Alaska) and the battery has just been replaced so I suspect a bad block was atypical. I like this design because the battery is replaceable and can be set to remind you of service intervals to ensure you change your oil on time. So far, this device is not inferior in performance to my ATV. If this changes I will change this review. It's also worth noting that shortly after delivery I received a personal email from the seller I bought it from asking if I was happy with it. That's good customer service!
