The Hobbs Meter was very easy to install. I installed it on a new engine I installed on a log splitter. It shows the RPM while the engine is running and the total number of hours since it has stopped.

This tachometer was just what I needed, I use it to set the RPM after turning on the natural gas/propane conversion installed generators. The removable battery is what I needed, other fixed batteries die and just throw them in the trash.

Do not buy this item as a generator. I have taken all my time and care installing 2 of these on 2 honda generators. They looked perfect and worked perfectly when we first tested them. I started the generator sets for the first time over the weekend, came home to check the clock to change the oil and guess what? None of them worked or turned on. waste of time and money. Very disappointed.

Ahead, this was a replacement for an identical unit from another vendor which lasted two months on my shredder/mill before the capacitor ripped off the circuit board rendering it unusable.
