These are the best mittens for babies! Mittens must be worn in front of the jacket as the cuff goes quite far up the arm. They cannot slip off and the child cannot easily take them off. They are ideal for playing in the snow for a long time. They are heavy but not bulky. The child can still make snowballs and grab objects. My kid was wearing 2T when I bought these mittens. I ordered size 1 to 3 and they fit great. She is now carrying 3T and still has room to grow. I haven't had any waterproofing issues. If you are looking for toddler mittens for outdoor play, then this is your best choice! I don't use these mittens for walking between the house and the car because they're harder to put on and take off and you don't need something as warm. Cheap knitted mittens are great for this purpose.
