Review on Efficient Park Tool SG-8 Threadless 🪚 Fork Saw Guide: Ideal for Cutting Carbon Blades by Chad Guinn

I wasn't sure which Park Tool saw guide to buy as I have both carbon and carbon steerers cut from metal. I really didn't want to spend double the amount to get both tools. Turns out the design is really simple, and there's a metal plate held in place by two screws that place the saw guide at about 2.6mm, which is the width of a carbide hacksaw blade. So with the help of 1mm washers I was able to very easily convert this tool to "SG-6". Simply remove the two Allen screws and insert 1mm thick washers ON SITE (the thicker plate provided is where you would place it in the picture I posted) from the spacer plate provided to cut/become the alloy steerer tubes . You can leave 1mm washers with the tool for convenience.
