Review on Dual Battery Isolator Kit Sensitive Tools & Equipment by Paul Barnes

Do not use the optional functions of the wiring accessories.

I don't like the design of this product regarding the extra wiring for the remote charge indicator. It consisted of a very short loop of low-voltage wire. I installed this on my boat and wanted a light on the console to let me know when the auxiliary battery is charging. When trying to strip the wire I cut most of it off leaving very little room for the connection. I also slipped in combat and pulled the ground wire out of the soldier connector. I ended up having to disassemble this thing and bury it in the ground. I tried to attach the auxiliary wire but to no avail as I'm not very strong in military matters. Of course I brought most of it with me, I didn't have to connect an additional indicator light. And I didn't ask the company for help, but I can't understand why they designed it with another extra cabling feature with full length cable available and only provided a very short unavailable cable for it. All of this could have been avoided with some improved design features. I'm not sure how long this thing will last in my DIY repair and if I have to replace it it won't be from this company.
