I love these shoes! I've had them for a few months and wear them every day. I've read complaints about the quality but I haven't had any problems. I tend to suffer from overheating feet and this causes my feet to get too warm. I removed and replaced the insoles. They are glued on, so be careful when removing them. The original foam insoles were bonded to a plastic sockliner that seemed to hold in heat. After I took them off and replaced them with branded insoles, the heat trap was like any other shoe. The protector is unique. almost like rubber spikes and they're pretty rough on my truck mat; But they also give me good traction when getting in or out of the trailer. They look best with blue jeans and shorts. My wife says they look good in shorts too, but they don't. I also added "no tie" and elastic laces so the shoes can be put on and taken off. A note: if you remove the original plastic insole, the shoe will have less sole protection when stepping on it. small pebbles etc. I'll probably buy them again when my current pair is done.
