Volume control first. For the first half of a spin, the volume seems to increase gradually, but when you hit the 2/3 mark, say around 2am, the volume suddenly jumps sharply. The volume and bass of this unit are much lower than my other bluetooth amplifier Pyle PFA330BT. The only good thing about it is the beep it makes when a Bluetooth device connects, unlike the Pyle 330BT which will blow your mind with a loud beep. I'm more impressed with Pyle's output than this one. My speaker is Sony SSCS5
