Unmatched Performance and Invaluable Value

Update April 14, 2019: My build circumstances have changed. I've switched to open loop with (2) 480mm x 60mm radiators and in a pull only configuration I'm using NF-A12x25 PWM fans to control airflow. I have two more NF-a12x25 fans with separate exhaust and 900rpm on my hinge, my 2700x and 2080 Ti cool silently. These fans with thick 60mm radiators are truly amazing in terms of noise and flow, especially in the 700-1300 RPM range. I can barely hear all 10 from 3 feet away at 1200 RPM, but they are at 900 they really quiet and keep the 2080Ti indefinitely at 2115MHz and 43C under any load. For applications where the lowest possible airflow noise through heatsinks is required or desired, look no further. I couldn't stand the NZXT Kraken x62 AIO pumping noise on my Ryzen 2700x build. After listening to a few other systems using the EVGA CLC280, Corsair H115 and H150, I found that my ears were only tuned to pick up water pump noise. So the next step was the best air cooling solution I could find: the Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4. In my case, the stock NF-a15 fans for this heatsink assembly did not clear the RAM or the side of the case. Thanks to some reviews of this fan and also that Noctua says it's compatible, I decided to try these cooling fans to keep the dual fan option. I also decided to replace my (7) NF-A14 PWM case fans with (6) NF-A12X25 fans. I was intrigued by the development cycle and the promise of excellent pressure and flow rates from low-mid to high-mid. . With the NH-D15 SE-AM4, I get the same overclock speeds with only a 2 second penalty in small Prime 95 FFT or Folding@Home CPU units compared to NZXT Kraken x62 with NF-A14 push, pull or push /pull fans. Where the Kraken required it, the fans spun high enough to be audible from 3 feet away and on par (auditory) with the noise of the AIO pump to achieve the reference cooling level. NF-A12x25 loses 2 c at 950 rpm: ear in direct contact with body. Best of all, I'm running an AMD Ryzen 2700x at 4.1GHz, all cores are running a Prime 95 or F@h processor, and worst case scenarios hit 66C, and the computer is completely silent when in a Sitting height of 3 feet. This is well within AMD's temperature guidelines, with a significant increase in all advertised core clocks that is constant indefinitely, and with a total CPU and SOC power consumption of 130 W. Pure silence and speed under full load would otherwise not be possible. I did my best. Sterrox's resin-based NF-A12x25 is a triumph of design and performance, with invaluable value and unparalleled performance.
