Review on 📀 Plextor PlexWriter PX-891SAF-R: High-Speed SATA DVD Burner Drive with Dual Layer Support (Retail Pack) by Ken Martinez

Plextor customer for the first time. I use other brands like LG and Asus but I think Plextor is better. The first thing I noticed was that it is very quiet. I bought a new desktop computer, but it only has a compact tray burner and is not motorized. It will be extracted automatically, but you have to close it manually. I record a lot of DVDs. The software I use for burning has to go through the tray after writing to verify the writing. This drive does exactly that. I installed it in a Vantec external USB3.0 enclosure (bought here from Revain) and had no problems recognizing the Windows 10 drive or problems reading or writing drives. I saw reviews that said the drive was NOT meant to be used for the software that came with this drive so I didn't. I already had Imgburn installed. XP CD burning software was also not required. I would buy this disc again if needed.
