My 10 year old boy is tall and I usually order boy size XL or adult small for him. Ordered a size smaller based on the reviews. I'm glad I did! The big one fits him perfectly. We bought it to tuck under his basketball jersey. If you want it to fit more like a t-shirt rather than wear it under something then I think it's ok to order your normal size. But as a compression shirt, it is better to order downwards. I like that the logo is tiny and cannot be seen under the shirt. Some big brands put these big logos on the front and I'm always afraid they'll stick out and ruin the look of the uniform. It serves its purpose and is much cheaper!
