Save the monitor for me...

I'm old and my old eyes can't see well on my two 24 inch LCD monitors. They had good resolution, but by the end of the workday I had eyestrain. I was in a real office recently where they were outfitted with these LG monitors and I ordered one of mine before the end of the week. The text was so sharp and so large that even a full page of 8.5 x 11 text could be viewed, or two pages side by side. After several weeks of use at home, I can also see much more comfort for the eyes at the end of the day. I'm missing two monitors, but I'm getting used to juggling windows again. The screen is big enough that portions of multiple windows can be visible, so you can push it forward without too much trouble. And with a picture this clear, the amount of real estate you can view in a spreadsheet is very helpful. So I'm happy with the purchase even if I have to adapt my work to one screen. It's huge, and its clarity makes it even bigger.
