I attached them to the back of our train table. Adhesion is great so make sure it's in the right spot as it won't budge on contact. Our table was a custom size so I had to cut the sheets to fit. I suggest a metal ruler and a razor blade if you need to cut the sheets, maybe some sandpaper depending on where you put it. The sheets, which did not need to be cut to fit our table, lay perfectly against each other and the blocks were attached to them. Blocks with the name of the brand are attached to the sheets with no problem for me. I recommend them, just make sure you line them up correctly.
