As mentioned before, these wire brushes spread splinters all over the garage. Even after gluing the brushes on as others suggested, I still had to put on a protective mask to keep from getting kicked by flying metal every few seconds. Brass was the worst because brass wire breaks over the adhesive area while stainless steel is held better by the adhesive. You get what you pay for I guess. Put on a face mask and vacuum afterwards so you don't chase wires around the house and your family doesn't complain about having to clean broken wires from their bare feet.
