In this review I try to convey as much detail as possible and as quickly as possible. Short summary: This is a good, fast-paced computer game. It's almost as fast as my Asus RoG Strix GL10DH desktop. It does everything you need very quickly in a portable form factor. Don't believe me, I brought the receipts with me. First, watch the attached video. Just 36 seconds. This is the default loading sequence followed by gameplay in Elite Dangerous, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020), and Elder Scrolls Online. "Ultra" is set for each graph, or I set each individual parameter to the highest possible level. Resolution 1920x1080. Sorry I don't have a 4K monitor to test with. Maybe I'll come back later and update this review. When it comes to games, I strive for the absolute highest quality. With normal use, lower some of the quality settings to get a better refresh rate. Even with the specified stakes, they are fully playable. There are always a few non-essential settings that need to be disabled that have little to no impact on gameplay but speed it up a lot. I haven't overclocked anything other than what's possible with Predator Sense and the Turbo button. You can get the same results as me on a brand new computer with the software installed by Acer. I ran some tests and statistical tools for you. Screenshots are attached and I will give unique keys below if you want to generate the report. Revain does not allow links in reviews. We are sorry about that. These tests were run with Acer's "Predator Sense" overclock (preinstalled on the computer) set to "Extreme" and the "Turbo" button (above the keyboard) enabled. I ran it for several days during testing and there were no errors. CPU-Z (key: 130wal) says it's an Intel Core i7 10750H. This is a 6-core 12-thread processor with a maximum frequency of 5 GHz. In performance mode with Predator Sense, it runs at around 4.5 GHz. The screenshot caught it at 4789.88MHz. The clock speed jumps a bit, which is normal. This system usually corrects things. The speed increases with the load. GPU-Z (key: fx9cp) shows that it has an nVidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super with Max-Q, 8GB GDDR6. So it's a 2070 Super, but it has some provision for throttling because it's in a laptop. It's still very fast. If you don't have another new slot machine, it will be faster than any you already have. UserBenchMark (key: 32743272) shows that this is a very good slot. The CPU is much faster than the same CPU on most systems. That means it's factory overclocked. The graphics card is also taller, but pushed down due to the shape of the laptop. The SSD (Western Digital PC SN730 NVMe SSD) is also faster than many. These NVMe drives are great for performance. Storage is no longer the bottleneck for most things. Less memory, but not poor. It's fast storage, but it gets a low score for not using XMP. No laptops seem to support XMP, so we can't do anything about it. Tried .Passmark/Performance Test (Key: 129253922683). All of these results mean this laptop is better than most. He got a decent result. Cinebench score is 3262. I know LTT likes this benchmark, so I included it in 3DMark (key: 50194888). I just ran Time Spy. It received a graphical score of 8262 and a CPU score of 7290. Both are very good for most machines. PCMark (Key: 50195292). This is bigger. Hm. well-rounded test system. It's kind of eclectic. But someone might find it useful, so I ran it for you. Total score - 6711. Basics - 89776; performance 9211; and Digital Content Creation 9112. Crystal DiskMark scores outrageously high on everything. Maximum read speed 3.2 GB/s; 2.7GB/s writing. I have no other vault that even comes close to them. Good job Western Digital. I can buy one of these for my desktop. About the main chips and heating. There is a video showing the insides (YouTube Key: yUUX0EWBnII). This laptop has a huge heatsink cooling tunnel built into the back half of the laptop. It regulates the temperature for the entire machine. You only see large air vents at the top between the keyboard and screen. large ventilation openings on both sides at the back; and the whole back is under the display. If you look closely you can see through the top and bottom vents. Only the fans stand in the way. It has two integrated video connections. I used the HDMI port on the left with a large monitor when I first tested it. The entire review was done using the built-in screen. It features a USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port that can be used with docking stations and port expanders. The manual says it supports up to 2 4K HDMI monitors through this port. I haven't tested it with multiple monitors. There are 3 USB-A ports (1 left, 2 right) and a mini display port (right). There were enough ports during the test. Keyboard lighting can be customized with Predator Sense. Colors and brightness can be adjusted so you're not stuck with glowing pieces forever. The screen brightness is adjustable and looks great in bright light. Built-in audio is enough, but those are just built-in speakers. If you want good bandwidth, you still need to hook up other speakers. You can use the headphone jack or Bluetooth. I really wanted to show you how to upgrade the storage or NVMe SSD. It requires surgery and more than I'm willing to do for no good reason. Without these I can still give information about internal ports. There is a video showing this if you are interested. (YouTube key: yUUX0EWBnII ). This will of course void your warranty. There are two RAM slots filled with two Micron 8GB DDR4-3200 (16GB total). There are two NVMe connectors. It looks like they can work as an NVMe or two as RAID0. It doesn't look like you can use two separate SSDs. This machine comes with a 500GB NVMe SSD. There is a mini PCIe slot containing an Intel AX201NGW. This is the latest standard wireless card. Intel has two cards, AX200 and AX201. AX201 can only work on a computer with such an Intel processor. AX200 can work in anyone. If desired, this card can be moved to any other Intel computer. Before ordering a replacement, you should check the key. Nothing better to announce at the moment. This one will serve you for a long, long time as it supports all modern standards. 802.11AX is a relatively new addition and could theoretically deliver 14Gbps over Wi-Fi. The throughput of a single stream is 3.5 Gbit/s. Faster wireless data transmission than even copper GigE cables. From the disassembly video, it's pretty easy to swap out the battery after splitting the case. It takes a lot more effort to get to the RAM and SSD slots. The screen is a 15.6 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) with a 300Hz refresh rate. Review recently here. There are new ones that are much better. That's convenient. Like an old torn jacket. I know basic buttons get stuck on 3D Extreme. I broke the x52 crossover cable connectors and re-soldered them a few times. The surf hat is dirty but I didn't bother to fix it. You've been good to me for over ten years. They'll probably be good as long as you are.----------
