You need to buy a 3 inch gasket between the cistern and the toilet which is not included in this kit. Also, the button is designed for a 1-7/8" hole where my toilet required a 58mm button. So buying this kit didn't turn into a savings for me. The kit includes a gasket between the flush valve and the tank body. You may also need to purchase a flush tank and toilet screw kit which consists of 2 or 3 screws depending on how the screw heads corrode underwater. The instructions speak of disassembling the flush valve prior to installation with no detailed instructions. Grasp the bottom half with one hand and the top half with the other. Rotate the top half and try to pull it apart, maybe 1/2 inch. and the two bodies will separate. Assemble in reverse order. The bodies must be sealed before you turn on the water or you will end up with a Hess smell. Much luck.
