This lighter was fantastic. It's very comfortable and fires me up in the windiest conditions where my trusty Zippo couldn't - not even a "windproof" Zippo. It was so windy then that I burned my hand trying to light the incense stick. This torch could ignite. However, a few things should be noted. 1) The contacts get dirty and do not light up. You hear a hissing sound. Simply clean the two contact points with a clean cloth and that will be enough to remove enough grime or grime to make it work again. 2) The USB connector for charging is not soldered well. There is little to keep him there. I bought it almost exactly 1 year ago and use it all the time. It just failed when I plugged it in (I think I charge it about every two months so I used the plug maybe 6 times?). As I unplugged the cable, I noticed that the connector was actually inside the case. When I opened up the case I noticed that the only thing really holding it together was the solder on the leads. It may be useful to apply a small spoonful of epoxy to the connector to hold it there for insertion force. Anyway, I was able to fix it, but you need some electronics repair experience and a soldering iron. This lighter has never let me down either, with the exception of the charging port. It was excellent and I would highly recommend it if you are in windy weather and need to light up frequently.
